Shuttle Bus Service

For parents who have children in both the Lower and the Upper School we offer a shuttle bus service at the beginning and the end of the day.  

***SHUTTLE BUS TRANSPORT WILL START ON MONDAY 9th SEPTEMBER 2024****

Our Shuttle Bus Service is available to families who had a child at both the Upper and the Lower School

How will this work?

 In the morning and the afternoon we will have a shuttle bus travelling between the sites as follows:

Bus 1 - Travelling from UPPER SCHOOL to the LOWER SCHOOL

Bus 2 - Travelling from the LOWER SCHOOL to the UPPER SCHOOL

 Parents can select which location to drop off children at and siblings will be taken to the opposite site on the shuttle.  This will then work in reverse at the end of the school day.  Your choice will remain the same for the whole term. 

Drop off and Collection:

Bus 1 - Parents will drop off and collect children at the Upper School. 

Bus 2 - Parents will drop off and collect children at the Lower School. 

Timings:

BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL

In order for this service to operate parents will need to book their children onto the shuttle bus list for the term. 

Children will be booked onto the service for both directions for the days you need.

FAQ's

Where do I drop my children off to catch the shuttle service?

The drop off points for children are: 

Lower School - Shuttle Drop Off Classroom, enter school from Ludlow Road entrance

Upper School - Shuttle Drop Off Classroom located next to the school hall (near the wrap around drop off)

Both locations will be signposted for you.  

What happens if we are late?

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children who are late to the service.  Parents would have to complete the drop off of their children at both sites. 

What happens if my child is booked into After School Club?

If you have booked a place in After School Club then your child will be taken to the club, they will not travel on the shuttle bus. 

What happens if my child was in Breakfast Club but needs to get the afternoon shuttle?

Your child will be taken to the shuttle as long as you have booked them on to the list.  

What if on occasion I want to collect my child from school at the end of the day instead of them taking the bus?

You will need to let the school know so that you plan to do this so your child is not put onto the shuttle bus.  You should do this in advance by email or phone to the relevant school office.
